JOB SUMMARY
Under limited supervision of the User Access Manager, a User Access Specialist will act as quality control for system access requests, ensuring requests have been properly implemented/authorized and follow through on appropriate remediation as necessary. Provides direction within the User Access Department on how to process requests and acts as a project coordinator, by ensuring assigned tasks are completed within timeframes specified.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• Associate's degree required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3 - 5 Years Experience in Function
• 3 - 5 Years Experience in Industry
• A+ or Security+ preferred
• Microsoft Certified Professional preferred
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities related to enterprise applications.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Advanced Microsoft Access and/or SQL skills for database development.
• Experience with user administration in Metavante Bankway; Harland Decision Pro, Laser Pro, Credit Quest, E3; Fedline Advantage; eDesk; and Synergy a plus.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills including the ability to type 35 wpm or more.
• Excellent prioritization, attention to detail, organizational & project management skills, and a commitment to quality and solution oriented service are required.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as a team, and communicate with all levels of the organization professionally and tactfully.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performs all of the job functions of the User Access Specialist.
• Suggests process improvements to provide for operational efficiency and implement solutions as necessary.
• Updates and review User Access procedures which are submitted to management for approval and publication.
• Acts as a quality control reviewer to ensure access granted was properly requested / implemented / authorized and follow through on appropriate remediation as necessary.
• Coordinates and conducts system certifications on a periodic basis to ensure access levels are appropriate and user access requests have been authorized / processed correctly in conjunction with business unit liaisons.
