Position Description
The Transaction Management Operator/Analyst will be responsible for completion of day-to-day activity as per standards and ensure accurate and timely delivery of assigned production duties. He/she needs to ensure adherence to all cut-off times and quality of processing as maintained in SLAs. He/she should ensure that all first level escalations related to routine activities are responded to within the time frames pre-specified. Should take responsibility and act as backup for the Peers in his/her absence and share best practices with the team.
Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities
TF DOC (Doc Collection, Export LC, Import LC Guarantees):
• (New, Amend and Doc Presentation): T+0 registers of transactions into legacy system
• Verify incoming transaction (Swift/deal ticket/customer order/Document Presentation): Consistency check of terms and conditions, CRM approval, if applicable
• Check if advising/confirming/collecting/counterpart bank is a global adopted FI customer (FI Excel file)
• Input data in TF3
• Perform relevant PCR (PCR tool), HOTSCAN and Dual Use of Goods checks (TF3)
• Perform Red flag checks (4-eyes) and escalate, if necessary (Excel file)
• Upload Red flag file in efolder
• Escalate any hit to Product Team on Brazil for further handling
• Review and control transaction in TF3
• Verify integration of data in backend system (Chip Shop/ATT)
• Review and control backend system (Chip Shop/ATT)
• Perform end of day reconciliation TF3 x CHIP/ATT
TF DOC (Doc Collection, Export LC, Import LC Guarantees):
• Commissions Calculation, Billing, Booking
• Retrieve weekly relevant reports from Chip or ATT to review due commissions
• Calculate applicable commission for each transaction (Excel)
• Independent review of calculation (Calculator)
• Send, depending on charged party, by email commission bill (password protected) to clients/by auth Swift to FI
• Monitor receipt of commission in BRL or foreign currency
• In case of foreign currency, request FX to close FX deal
• Book commissions in Chip Shop or ATT
TF DOC: Receive instructions and monitor Credit approval from CRM
TF FSC CP (Confirmed Payables):
• T+0 registers of transactions into legacy system
• Monitor transactions processed by NOC India if successfully paid to supplier (dbi)
• Verify internal accounts are duly funded and all transactions are completed (dbi, ATT, BAFIR)
• Perform manual Processing in contingency scenario (manual payments to supplier via BAFIR, booking ATT)
• Monitor successful settlement of transactions due (dbi)
TF FSC AR (Account Receivables):
• Seller setup into receivables portfolio at SGR - legacy system and instruct new setup into Correspondent Bank, when applicable
• Verify relevant CRM approval and collateral formalization, when applicable
• Register/confirm transactions into SGR legacy system according to the deal ticket booked by GTB team
• Generate obligor/seller exposure reports and expired AR invoices report in SGR and send to GTB and CRM teams
• Ad-hoc demands: generate and send monthly report of Account Receivables to clients, if and when requested by clients
• Execute end of day activities: reconcile internal account and send email to GTB Sales informing transactions disbursed during the day
• Monitor at DBI/JD to confirm if client has enough funds to settle transactions, either on current account or wash account (0995630) – incoming payment, and inform SP team to proceed with transactions settlement
• Act on breaks/discrepancies raised by Reconciliation in regards to daily Nostro, Depot, Accounting reconciliation reports with Finance support
• Incident Reporting & Escalation – any significant issue is escalated to senior management, raising awareness of identified issues, situations, risks, etc
• Act on CTB initiatives / BoW (Regulatory, Audit, Essential Maintenance and Discretionary), participating from business requirements stage until UAT Testing and rollout to Production Environment
Cash Lending & TF Loans:
• Verify relevant CRM approval and collateral formalization, when applicable
• Register transactions into Função/SGR legacy systems according to the deal ticket booked by GTB team
• Monitor at Função/SGR DBI/JD if client has enough funds to settle transactions, either on current account or wash account (0995630) – incoming payment, and inform SP team to proceed with transactions settlement
• Send maturity advices to clients with settlement instructions for Working Capital, Resolution 3844, Compror, NCE, Resolution 3844 with NCE through Função/ATT systems by user command (T-1 of maturity date/daily/weekly)
• Ad-hoc demands: generate and send monthly report of Cash Lending/TF Loans deals, if and when requested by clients
• Only for Export deals: Follow- up with client to provide shipping documents and check the export registers in the Brazilian export system. (web-based app)
• Only for NY deals: DI (Import Declaration) check/control over Import Deals
• Execute end of day activities: reconcile internal account and send email to GTB Sales team informing transactions disbursed during the day
• Act on breaks/discrepancies raised by Reconciliation in regards to daily Nostro, Depot, Accounting reconciliation reports with Finance support
ACC/ACE – Advanced payment over FX Contract or FX deliverables:
• Receive instructions from Trade Finance Sales and Credit approval from CRM
• Analyze consistency of approvals received and booked transaction by FSG
• Send Advices to client on expiry date and settlement date
• Incident Reporting & Escalation – any significant issue is escalated to senior management, raising awareness of identified issues, situations, risks, etc
• Act on CTB initiatives / BoW (Regulatory, Audit, Essential Maintenance and Discretionary), participating from business requirements stage until UAT Testing and rollout to Production Environment
Experience/ Exposure:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Fluent in Portuguese language (written/verbal) and English
• Relevant experience in one or more specific operational/product areas expected knowledge on FIC (Fixed Income & Currency) and/or GTB (Trade Finance, FSC. Loans and Cash Management) products
• Desirable knowledge of the Brazilian market
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, flexible regarding production problem solving
• Open minded, able to share information, knowledge and expertise with peers & team members
• Able to work in virtual global teams and a matrix organization
