Job Summary
Serves as a liaison between the Business and IT to provide guidance, support and governance of portfolio level initiatives (Epics). Understands customers’ objectives, processes, and products as well as the business systems capabilities; Supports Portfolio Management and Epic Owners in building Lean Business Case, including defining the minimal viable product, business outcome hypothesis & leading performance indicators. Provides ongoing support through and education on the Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) process. Facilitates discussions and documents key decisions made throughout the Portfolio Kanban stages.
Essential Job Functions
• Understands customers’ objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations.
• Acts as liaison and facilitates meetings with and between Business and IT, as assigned.
• Supports users in building Lean Business Case, including defining the minimal viable product, business outcome hypothesis & leading performance indicators.
• Supports the preparation and facilitation of the Lean Portfolio Management meetings.
• Documents key decisions made throughout the Portfolio Kanban stages.
• Tracks and manages action items and the completion of tasks required to progress through the Portfolio Kanban.
• Ensures key information is accessible, visible and kept current.
• Educates and supports others on the Portfolio Management (LPM) process.
Education Requirements : High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience Requirements:Level II: 1 year as a Business Analyst Level I or 4 years of experience in related areas.
