Wealth Client Specialists will assist a combination of private banker(s), client advisor(s) and/or fiduciary officer(s) in effectively implementing their client acquisition and service delivery plans. Proactively providing professional and responsive service to high net worth clients. Assisting in the gathering of account documentation for loans, deposits, trust, and/or investment accounts. Requires daily support of sales including but not limited to responding to client requests, contact management tracking, account documentation maintenance, gathering/tracking of client documentation, and timely follow up on internal/external client requests. Working as a critical member of the wealth management team, responsible for quality assurance and quality control functions consistent with first line of defense duties to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Principal Accountabilities:
Client Servicing and Retention:
Provide timely responses to client information requests, same day unless otherwise communicated to client. Acting independently and with exceptional judgment to address client needs and concerns while keeping wealth team members informed of client activity. Serves as First Line of Defense while servicing client needs to ensure mitigation of financial risk to the Bank.
Documentation Support and Accuracy:
Processes and ensures accuracy of documentation for new and existing account relationships. Including but not limited to entering client relationship information and financial information, completion of relationship summary, ensures all needed documents are in place and packages are complete for processing of account opening/funding.
Ongoing Portfolio Servicing Support:
Actively participates in meetings with supported officers providing updates on recent client servicing requests, resolution of documentation exceptions, breaks in service causing client impact, tracking of upcoming tasks/relationship reviews/financial information requests for ongoing portfolio servicing. Runs officer specific reports to assist with ongoing servicing of portfolio which may include overdrafts, portfolio management & exception resolution, system alerts requiring action, etc.
Sales Support:
Actively provide sales support to wealth officers including but not limited to, identifying sales and cross sell opportunities, sharing life events discovered during client interactions, coordinating materials for presentations, setting up sales calls, maintaining prospect lists, attending joint calls as requested, etc. Partners with middle office groups to ensure timely completion of account servicing/onboarding, while providing status updates to officers. Assist with input of financial information in in to various systems including Money Guide Pro data entry. Serves as point of contact corresponding with middle office groups, attorneys, accountants, clerks of court, etc. Attends client meetings as active member of wealth team for ongoing daily client servicing needs, as requested by officer.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with 6 months related banking or financial services experience
Or
High School Diploma or GED with minimum of 4 years related banking or financial services experience.
Additional Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven track record working in high paced environment.
-Advanced computer skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
-Ability to proactively solve problems, while exercising exceptional judgment.
-Able to work well within high paced sales team, and independently.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior experience in Wealth Management/Trust Field or Financial Services
-Highly organized and efficient at task completion.
