As a Financial Services Representative at First Citizens Bank, you will focus on building meaningful relationships with customers by demonstrating a genuine interest in understanding what’s important to them and how First Citizens Bank can help meet their financialneeds. You will develop strong relationships with other bank partners and bankers that enable you to introduce customers to specialists who can assist with specific financial needs. What will make you successful in this role?
Focus on relationship building and sales development through the promotion of deposits, loans and other specialty services.
Perform client outreach to establish new relationships as well as expand existing banking relationships. Assist with account maintenance and problem resolution for clients.
Have a self-starter approach, the ability to manage your time, and adapt to obstacles without compromising quality.
Proactively look for ways to enhance sales and service performance by supporting Bank initiatives and leveraging tools to enhance activities.
Use a relationship selling approach in client/prospect interactions. Ensure sales and service activities are aligned to create value for both the client and the bank. Sales results should align with the needs of the community and ultimately support the organizationalcommitment to diverse lending.
Uncover opportunities to make quality referrals to branch or other business partners.
Demonstrate the Bank's service standards of accuracy, responsiveness, courtesy, partnership and responsibility along with other service expectations.
Work as a team by maintaining helpful and courteous interactions with others and keep communication lines open.
Adhere to all regulations, compliance and Bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities.
Manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions.
This role supports the fulfillment of consumer investment needs. We are seeking candidates who currently hold investment and insurance licenses (Series 6, 7 and/or 63 licenses) or candidates interested in becoming licensed.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 2 years experience in a sales, financial services, or lending role.

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years experience in a sales, financial services, or lending role.
Additional Requirements:
Series 6, 63, and State specific life insurance licenses. First Citizens Investor Services will also hold Series 7 licenses.
Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Employment Agreement Requirement:
Dual Employment Agreement (all FCB/FCIS Wealth Management – dual associates, including LPAs)
Preferred Qualifications:
Sales, referral and service skills to effectively sell the Banks products and make qualified referrals to Bank partners.
Advanced knowledge of retail products and services and related policies and procedures.
Currently hold FINRA 6 and 63 registrations as well as state specific life insurance license, and has maintained continuing education coursework to keep licenses and/or registrations in active standing.
1 year experience in a licensed sales role.
