Brief Description:
Huntington Bank is looking for a Data Quality Lead for the Enterprise Data organization led by the Chief Data and Architecture Officer (CDAO). In this role, you will report to the Enterprise Data Management and Data Quality Leader and assist in building and managing a team. If you consider data as a strategic asset, evangelize the value of good data and insights, have a passion for finding innovative ways to improve the quality of enterprise data, and love building teams and mentoring talent, this role is for you.
This exciting and newly created role will assist in building and coaching a team focused on developing Huntington's next generation data quality capabilities. The position will require a tight partnership with technology (data teams and CIOs), the office of the CDAO, business support units, and other key stakeholders.
Detailed Description:
• Define and implement an enterprise data quality management framework, including components, processes, roles and responsibilities
• Lead the project team(s) responsible for operationalizing the data quality framework, partnering closely with the data technology organization to define requirements for key capabilities
• Provide thought leadership on best practices around data quality assessment methodologies, including data profiling tools and techniques
• Define and build an enterprise data issue management framework, including strategies to prioritize and remediate data quality issues
• Partner with key stakeholders to design and implement data quality goals to meet their business targets, including regulatory and compliance objectives
• Provide leadership in developing enterprise standards for measuring data quality, including continuous monitoring and appropriate auditability and controls
• Hire resources to build the new data quality team; coach and mentor team members
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Min 7 years of experience working in a data environment including min five years of hands on experience implementing data quality management frameworks
• Min 3 years of experience leading data-related projects or programs and building a team and managing others
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree preferred
• Well-versed on industry best practices, tools and techniques for data quality
• Working experience of data architecture, data warehousing, and big data design
• Knowledgeable and experienced with data management processes, reference data, systems, and technologies, including managing technology projects
• Working experience identifying and managing critical data elements
• Well-developed negotiation, influencing, and partnership skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Business outcome focused
