The Director, Health Care Solutions Technology will be responsible for leading a portfolio of scrum teams within Fidelity Benefits Marketplace driving cross-team engineering perfection and industry competitive development practices as we move to a cloud-centric, data and digitally driven organization.
The Team
Our teams build and contribute to Fidelity’s digital presence by building simple experiences that help our employers and their employees get more out of their HR Payroll and Benefits programs. We offer an easy to use platform that seamlessly integrates all of your benefits, HR, Payroll, Time Management, Benefits Administration and Retirement so our clients can spend less time and money administering the benefit programs and their employees are better positioned to support benefit needs for themselves and their families.

The Expertise You Have
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Mathematics, Physics (or equivalent) preferred
• 10+ years designing, developing, and maintaining solutions across all tiers – UI, Services and Database, using CI/CD principles in a dynamic Scrum environment
• Strong business insight and ability to recommend solutions to achieve desired business results
• Proven experience leading in a reciprocal, team-based environment with a constant focus on learning, coaching, motivating, and empowering others
• Consistent track record leading multiple delivery teams via an agile-driven lifecycle
• Deep understanding of the Digital Eco-System and hands on experience leading an organization through a Digital Transformation
• General knowledge of the Benefits Administration industry

• You have strong communication skills in written presentations, internal communications and the leadership of cross-functional meetings, including at the executive level
• You possess an Agile mindset and are passionate about engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration and are eager to learn and teach every single day by sharing relevant insights, responding to questions and employing active listening techniques
• You can set a clear vision and prioritize the work of your teams by using hard and soft data to make decisions
• Demonstrated ability to balance business and TLM needs with sound judgment; ability to evaluate broad business issues and engage appropriate parties at all levels of Fidelity
• You understand the end-to-end product management lifecycle and have proven results implementing DevOps, Automated Testing and Continuous Delivery practices across Web and Mobile frameworks such as Angular, Node.js, Java, Swift, Kotlin
• You have strong organizational and project management skills are able to take initiative with a clear problem statement and desired outcomes
• You are able to clearly document design options and decisions, and present these in an organized manner to technical as well as non-technical audiences

• Analyzing key metrics and critical metrics and recommending changes in agile and engineering procedures, standards, and strategies to continually improve the efficacy of our delivery and impact to customers.
• Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security across HealthCare Solutions and the Enterprise, where applicable
• Supporting a mobile-first world by continuously upskilling Digital Engineers
• Providing leadership and mentoring to team members, via both direct and in-direct reporting
• Driving product development from concept to customer via the daily management of the scrum teams, including inter program dependencies, risk and driving program-level deliverables, schedules and resources
• Tracking and providing progress on the delivery of the Product Roadmaps, including critical metrics, key outcomes, features, capabilities etc. both locally within the team and to senior management
