Mariner Wealth Advisors is expanding our team with the addition of a Director of Regional Business Operations to support our continuous growth in the west region. This dynamic leadership position will serve in support of the Regional Managing Director to assist in the coordination and execution of strategic priorities and business activities to drive successful results. This individual will be responsible for the management of activities and timely flow of information to and from the Regional Managing Director.
The ideal candidate will be driven and willing to handle a wide range of responsibilities in a very fast paced professional environment while empowering others. The candidate must be dynamic, high-energy, organized and capable of supporting a Regional Managing Director to enable their success and accomplishment of business objectives. Cultural fit is of highest priority for this position. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field from an accredited college or university
• Previous experience in a leadership position within the Wealth Management industry
• General understanding of compliance and operations as it relates to financial planning
• Strong executive presence that will drive strategy and assist in the team’s execution of priorities and goals
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Able to handle multiple tasks with appropriate sense of urgency
• Ability to work confidently within varying degrees of ambiguity
• Strong judgment and confidence in decision making when appropriate
• Highly collaborative with other leaders and teams throughout the organization
• Service-minded with commitment to live Mariner’s “Client First. Associate Second” mentality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Relationship and results oriented
• Balances big-picture concerns with day-to-day activities
• Effective at resolving conflict and negotiation with internal and external parties
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Salesforce is preferred
• Familiarity of Advisor platforms and tools
• Mature, energetic personality with a “let’s roll up our sleeves’ attitude
• Ability to travel occasionally
