As a Centralized Support Representative, you’ll have the important role of expediting the collection process of a claim. You’ll gather evidence such as record statements, police reports and scene investigations for subrogation or arbitration. You’ll also spend your time:
• making outbound calls to customers, vendors and other insurance carriers for the status of claims and documenting your findings.
• corresponding with customers, vendors and other insurance carriers via email for the status of claims, then documenting your findings.
• retrieving claim and contact information from Progressive systems/databases and internet searches.
Pay: $16.83per hour, plus an annual gainshare bonus of up to 16% of your salary! Progressive rewards each of us with an annual bonus based on company performance.
Start Date & Schedule: My 20, 2019, Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm during training (10 weeks), after training the schedule will be Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed to be Successful:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1 year work experience in a high volume production environment, customer service or claims role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle high volume that comes with working in a multifaceted administrative environment
• Strong customer service, telephone and follow-up skills
• Ability to type/keyboard/operate a personal computer including the following software/systems: email, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office and Dual monitors
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
