Description
Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Compensation team is seeking a HR professional with 4-7 years of compensation-related experience.
This individual’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Firmwide Compensation Reporting and Employee Metrics
• Base Salary Modeling
• Regulatory comp reporting
• Implementation and Maintenance of Compensation Reporting and Audit Tools
• User Assurance Testing for Compensation-related systems
• Preparation and Delivery of Monthly and Year-End Accrual Feeds to Finance
• Preparation and Delivery of Year-End Feeds to Downstream Systems for Payment, Grant, and Reporting Purposes
• Creation and Maintenance of Process Documentation
• Market Data Coordination and Vendor Relations
This role will require collaboration with various partners, including Finance, Payroll, Executive Compensation, and Business-specific Compensation Teams.
The job will require heavy use of HR systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
Qualifications
Skills Required:
Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ Years Professional Related Work Experience
Technical/Analytical:
• Strong Quantitative skills
• Strong Excel skills (generate pivot tables, write complex formulas)
• Exposure to Access (able to write basic queries, and operate pre-built databases)
Beneficial Experience:
• Business Objects
• Comfortable learning new systems and technologies
Interpersonal Skills:
• Demonstrate ability to meet stringent deadlines
• Outstanding analytical skills (able to develop and produce meaningful reports from multiple streams of data)
• Excellent communications skills: Verbal & Written
• Able to simply and concisely convey complex ideas
• Thorough attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills
• Must be a team player
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Enjoys solving problems and streamlining processes
