Within Capital Group, North American Distribution oversees sales and distribution for North America across various client segments including retail and institutional clients. Their efforts are focused on positioning Capital Group as the active investment manager of choice, providing superior service, sales and marketing experience while broadening our business.
As a Sales Support Coordinator on our Internal Sales and Support team, you will be responsible for providing marketing and administrative support to our external Sales Force Members (SFM) located in field sales divisions, as well as internal sales representatives located in a divisional business unit.
Responsibilities:
• Make a high volume of outbound calls to our Advisors to schedule meetings with our Sales Force Members
• Coordinate large complex meetings and events, involving participates in multiple locations, compiling meeting agendas, reserving meeting space, and arrange all details
• Produce correspondence for your Sales Force Members and advisors
• Process expense reports
• Run hypotheticals for potential meeting follow-up and preparing weekly SFM packets
Qualifications:
• 1+ year of sales/marketing experience including cold calling
• Knowledge of investment management or financial industry desired
• Team player with strong interpersonal communication and sales skills that can thrive in a challenging and collaborative sales environment
• Ability to build and sustain effective business relationships with internal and external team members through their ability to anticipate issues and problem-solve
• Demonstrates high level of time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail with integrity and ownership of work
• Takes initiative to work creatively to support their Sales Force Members to meet territory goals
• Bachelor's degree preferred
