We have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead a team of talented UX Designers and Developers working on web and mobile solutions that help millions of people achieve their financial goals. Successful candidate will: utilize design thinking techniques and strong collaboration across design, development, business, and analytics, functions to solve complex, large-scale problems and create experiences our customers love and that drive results for the business; drive the Digital Experience strategically, creatively, and holistically across and near- and long-term deliverables within a line of business and partner with peers in other lines of business to help guide the evolution of the digital experience across the company.
Responsibilities:
• Mentor, grow, and lead a team of highly talented, highly motivated team of UX Designers and UX Developers. Foster a cross-disciplinary approach that embraces creativity, rigor, and data.
• Drive a user-centered design culture, innovation, and process improvements up, down, and across the organization.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams to launch new products, features, and services on time and within budget. Manage expectations within the team and with clients.
• Prioritize and help to guide the work of the team.
• Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in a creative or technical field. Graduate degree preferred.
• At least three years of experience managing a UX team in an agile or lean environment.
• Portfolio demonstrating extensive experience solving the most complex UX problems and shipping successful, innovative web and mobile experiences for large-scale clients.
• Exceptional collaboration skills. High degree of creativity, empathy, and passion.
• Stellar communication skills (storytelling, visualization, use of qualitative and quantitative data) to enlist support for initiatives and ignite enthusiasm to execute. Able to drive clarity on the largest and most difficult projects.
• Expert in Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of best digital practices and the competitive landscape.
• Proficient in all of the following, and expert in at least two: user research, interaction design, visual design, information architecture, front-end development.
• Deep knowledge about web and mobile UX patterns, best practices, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent organizational skills. Able to switch between tasks across projects.
• Able to give and receive feedback and interpret critique to enhance project outcomes.
