About the Job
Has day-to-day leadership responsibility for Tax Solutions, ensuring timely delivery and extraordinary performance of products and services to clients. You will be the key overseer in coordinating the operations of multiple tax product lines and maximizing operational and production efficiencies. You will drive for expected and timely revenue achievement. The position is a strategic partner with senior management in directing the operational aspects of the Employer Tax Service and Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) products and executing initiatives/strategies as directed.
Responsibilities:
• You will act as a change agent and innovator for leading and lead continuous improvement processes while instilling a culture of accountability.
• Develop strategy to meet growth initiatives and business objectives.
• You will collaborate with sales and product marketing to drive revenue opportunities.
• Lead continuous improvement events resulting in employee skill, knowledge development and performance improvement.
• Engage directly with customers during discovery sessions, account reviews, sales meetings or other opportunities to assist with solution optimization and strategy setting
• Lead and develop a staff of managers and professionals.
• Be accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams.
• Partner with senior management to develop budget, operational, and staffing requirements/goals.
• Handle and control a department budget.
• Participate in specialized business organizations/societies as the key UC and WOTC tax authority for the EWS business.
• You will provide tax expertise to staff to ensure that services consistently meet or exceed client expectations.
• Develop and implement appropriate operational procedures/methodologies to meet timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Establish, monitor, and report on operation/production issues, business improvement opportunities and operational achievements.
• You will develop standard methodologies, processes, and policies to maximize operational output/efficiency and to support business goals.
• Participate in client and/or sales meetings/presentations, as required, to represent the operations management function of product lines.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to travel up to 30%
• Managing a team of 6 direct repots an addition to 100 in direct reports
Experience/Education
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, management or accounting. Advanced degree a plus.
• 8+ years in management in a fast-paced environment.
• UC and WOTC tax knowledge and industry presence.
• Hands-on knowledge of operational practices in a service industry.
• Experience navigating/negotiating/collaborating in a large organization.
