Our North Face and Jansport offices are currently located in Alameda, CA; Smartwool is located in Steamboat, CO; Eagle Creek is located in Carlsbad, CA and Altra Running is located in Logan, UT. All positions at these brands will ultimately be located in Denver, CO. Creative Producer:
Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
The Creative Producer will work directly with Senior Producer, Creative Director, Art Directors and coordinate with internal teams, external producers, production houses and photographers on planning, budgeting and execution of photography and videos for The North Face. The Creative Producer will work with the Content and Creative team to deliver photography and videos to the guidelines of creative briefs and provide the visual needs required of The North Face’s retail, wholesale, social, digital, product and eCommerce channels.
How You Will Make a Difference:
• Interfaces and collaborates with internal project leads on a per project basis. Creates, manages and tracks applicable budgets and project time lines to ensure deliverables are met.
• Lead and manage production across the entire arc of photo production from pre-production through final photo delivery.
• Work with Brand and Creative teams on photography needs and track to calendars for seasonal and non-seasonal photography asks.
• Work with varying departments on non-seasonal photography requests.
• Assists in development of creative execution of photo shoots with Art Director.
• Builds production schedules as needed; manages the production of photo and video content as assigned. Ensures photo/video projects are completed on time and content is delivered to Asset Coordinator.
• Creates, manages and tracks all applicable budgets to ensure on or under budget performance.
• Ability to clearly set expectations and deliver to a creative brief.
• Manages all contract and freelance production staff and negotiate pricing with production partners to ensure all projects are within budget. Create contracts for services provided to The North Face.
Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 5 + years of experience with photography and video production.
Educational/ Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Arts, advertising or related field or equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
• High level of organizational and planning skills.
• Knowledge of The North Face product and brand.
• Clear communication skills and ability to navigate creative process.
• Proven track record of managing projects, budgets, and timelines. Well organized and deadline oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and strong presentation skills.
• Able to communicate effectively and tactfully with clients, vendors and photographers.
• Able to organize and schedule work effectively, handle multiple tasks and work well under time constraints.
• Must be team oriented, diplomatic, self-starter.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Photoshop and general database management.
• Ability to travel internationally.
• Flexibility with schedule and ability to work long hours across several weeks depending on production schedule.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Travel by air and overnight, as required 25% of time.
