MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager of E-Com, New Business Development (Portfolio) will oversee the business relationship of 3rd party marketplaces and grow sales in these channels to meet company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Build and implement short-term and long-term strategic plans for growth while managing the everyday 3rd party marketplace businesses for the company; Execute the perfect store online by focusing on sales and marketing activities, search ranking improvement, conversion rate optimization, product listing optimization, and AMS/AMG promotional activation.
• Supports Director, E-Com in delivery of forecasting, monthly/quarterly, annual Net Revenue, and P&L targets for Pure Play B2C E-commerce. Provide insight and action to manage the positive and negative impacts of reports. Create gap plans, if needed.
• Act as the key point of contact for Amazon. Address daily requests and work closely with internal Digital, Finance, IM, and Marketing teams on forecasting, pricing, inventory management, market research, demand generation, product assortment, and merchandizing. Ensure efficient communication, sustainable growth of the marketplace businesses, and increase sales volume.
• Drive sell-in and sell through of new product launches. Ensure operational excellence across E-Commerce scorecards. Propose recommendations to improve retail sales, gain/grow whitespace categories, maximize ROI, and improve on business.
• Create and propose investment decisions and oversee spend budget through assessment of retail marketing campaigns and initiatives based on KPIs and competitive landscape.
• Build Manager team capabilities- online sales and digital fundamentals, score carding, Joint Business Planning and execution, and KPI’s. Lead performance review and career management discussions.
• Prospect and manage new 3rd party marketplace opportunities and relationships.
• Develop and implement internal and external tools and processes (including documentation) to enable streamlined efficiency across the business
• Assess performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives and make necessary changes to maximize A&CP efficiency based on ROI learnings.
THE COTY IDEAL FIT
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or other relevant study
• 2 years+ experience in consumer or professional goods, Beauty/Fashion industry a plus
• Expert level of selling on Amazon marketplace/ Seller Central/ Vendor Central or other key marketplace customers with extensive knowledge of best practices and strategies
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in an extremely fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
• Results-driven and able to work with the cross-function teams to achieve sales
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, self- starter, and be able to work independently. Strategic thinker.
• Ability to travel up to 1x per month/quarter, as needed
