Director Education, E-Learning,Travel Retail Worldwide
Summary
This position will be the e-learning lead on the newly established Travel Retail Worldwide Cross-Branded Corporate Education team. This Director will partner with the Executive Director to bring all necessary content to life on the designated e-learning platform, measure its effectiveness, and become an expert in different ways to enhance TRWW’s education capabilities through engaging e-learning tools.
Responsibilities
E-Learning
• Support ED in adapting, maintaining and evolving e-learning both hero-product and brand-agnostic materials
◦ Help to adapt training content from the physical environment to digital platforms
◦ Test content receptivity with field end-users
• Watch over user interfaces ensuring that information order and product mentions make sense for the end-user
• Lead contact/point-person for GIS, development and design vendors
• Become an expert on the chosen corporate e-learning platform
◦ Act as team interface with all e-learning platform vendors to initiate and maintain program
◦ Learn and become a power user on Articulate 360 Authoring Suite. Advise team on which authoring tool is appropriate for varied situations
◦ Ensure excellence in execution and continue to push for innovation in development and design
• Manage development and maintenance budget for all e-learning development and programming
• Manage tracking of KPI progress utilizing designated analytics tracker –
◦ Develop appropriate test-and-learn KPI’s
◦ Drive usage of e-learning modules and incentivize compliance
◦ Communicate findings and partner with Executive Director working to adjust plan accordingly
Site Administration
• Ensure that all users are added in a timely manner and are given appropriate module access
• Ensure that users who leave their roles have access removed
• Act as lead global administrator
Calendarization
• Partner with Global Communications, Consumer Engagement teams to keep tabs on special traffic/business-driving celebrity mentions
• Manage calendar guides (Including but not limited to notable launches, trips, merchandising programs)
Social Media
• Create and monitor closed pages on social sites for BA community building
◦ Act as Administrator to keep tabs on posted content
◦ Facilitate contests and competitions
Qualifications
• Background in or passion for CPG, Beauty, Personal Care, Luxury Goods
• 8+ years related experience
• Passion for or curiosity about adult learning and e-learning
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, especially for audiences where English is second or third language
• Strength in analytics
• Comfort with/enthusiasm for new technology adoption
• Able to build strong working relationships, especially with those who are not responsible to you via reporting relationships
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Enthusiastic team-player with high-level of emotional intelligence
• Ability to be flexible and grow and change with the role
• Passion for multi-national environments and multi-cultural consumers
• Experience building and establishing a new capability from scratch
• Knowledge of/passion for/curiosity about social influencers and their effect on product sales
