Are you a current undergraduate student or will you be graduating in the next few months? Are you available to join our team from June 18th to August 21st, 2019? During this full-time internship program, we expect our interns will work an average of 40 hrs/week at our Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA and be available for the entirety of the 9.5-week program.
About the Role:
We are looking for four (4) Creative Content Interns to work on our Stand for Stories Project to be showcased on our story hub, a new feature of the TOMS.com website. This team of creators will be responsible for telling the inspirational stories of the interesting artists, activists and employees we work with.
Over the course of the 9.5-week program, the interns will be guided by our innovative creative team and
will learn how TOMS utilizes multiple platforms and media to tell and share stories and engage consumers with our brand. The interns will hone their skills in the craft of writing, storytelling, video editing, presentation, and artistic direction, while keeping the TOMS audience in mind.
The ideal candidates will be avid storytellers with a portfolio ready to share. We are looking for those interested in film, photography, editing, copywriting, music, etc. and are looking to build a well-rounded team of innovative creatives.

Here’s what you will do:
• Concept projects, compose film and photography treatments, write scripts, copy articles, film material, compose and edit content.
• Participate in full lifecycle production of video and photography shoots
• Assist with location scouting, set production, camera recording, audio setup, etc.
• Edit video content utilizing Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and/or After Effects.

Skills that you’ll need:
• Film students with concepting abilities, film skills, equipment proficiency, editing programs, musical knowledge, a big heart and a kind ear.
• Prior experience concepting a creative project – video, photography, script, etc.
• Experience filming with DSLR cameras and editing in Adobe Premiere is Required – show us your portfolio – we want to see your skills!
• Experience utilizing Photoshop to edit imagery and color correction a strong plus
• Experience with Aftereffects is a Plus
• Ability to lift, push, pull and/or carry up to 25lbs of product or office supplies – we all pitch in where we can!
