About AM Retail Group
AM Retail Group, a division of G-III Apparel Group consists of DKNY, Karl Lagerfeld Paris, G.H Bass & Co., Andrew Marc & Wilsons Leather. AMRG operates ecommerce websites & over 300 retail store locations across brands.
The eCommerce team seeks a dynamic, tech savvy individual to collaborate with the merchandising, marketing, creative, retail, and customer service teams to coordinate and execute product and content updates for brands within AM Retail Group, a division of G-III Apparel Group. The role will continuously identify ways to enhance the customer experience on our sites and understand customer shopping behavior. This role will have a single brand focus, but will support all eCommerce brands within AMRG.
Responsibilities
• Oversee product and content: put products live on website, merchandise site based on marketing initiatives, selling reports, trend and seasonality, and find new methods to streamline the product launch process
• Develop content and track deliverables for products within deadlines with great accuracy (images, delivery dates, copy, product specifications, pricing, swatch creation, categorization and sequencing)
• Coordinate product photography samples, photo log, and photo shoot calendar
• Work with the Graphic Designer to ensure all products featured in creative have appropriate inventory levels and are merchandised prominently
• Develop and analyze website reporting and customer behavior; use to optimize site merchandising and productivity
• Perform regular Quality Assurance testing on site and troubleshoot site issues in a timely manner
• Implement promotions and price changes and maintain a master product file
• Analyze and report on product and category selling
• Identify and act on site inventory depletion and replenishment
• Develop expertise in content management systems
• Address customer product inquiries and enhance site product details
• Analyze and report on competition by patterning web sites and email campaigns
• Assist the team with tasks and projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Internship or some work experience in eCommerce, Web Content, or Fashion Merchandising
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• An understanding of database functionality
• An aptitude for fashion merchandising
• Acute attention to detail and ability to research / problem solve issues
• Ability to multi-task with a high level of excellence

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
