THE PURPOSE:
As the Sr. Director Domestic Wholesale, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the major and specialty store businesses handled out of the Los Angeles office. You will develop and implement long term growth strategies for key retail apparel partners. Collaborate with internal teams regarding key customer business trends and updates. Develop and implement channel, customer, account and doors strategies to achieve sales and margin targets across the territory. Develop relationships with management teams from key accounts. Manage monthly forecasts and projected sales for key accounts. Coach, manage and inspire team of sales professionals to meet financial and brand objectives. Ensure retail partners maintain optimal brand representation. Partner with merchandising and product counterparts to address key account product needs.
THE ROLE (what you are accountable for)
• Build and implement long range growth strategy for Domestic Wholesale channels to achieve quarterly and annual goals
• Develop and implement go to market strategy to maximize opportunity across majors and specialty
• Partner with Planning to develop and execute seasonal financial plans, account strategies and door plans for men’s, women’s and childrenswear to achieve sales, margin and inventory targets
• Develop sales and reorder targets for the domestic sales organization
• Manage in season strategies to meet GM, dilution and brand positioning targets
• Analyze weekly and monthly selling to optimize re-order potential and facilitate communication on product needs with design and production.
• Serve as the internal advocate and ambassador for domestic wholesale across all cross functional teams to ensure DTC business strategy and wholesale strategies work in harmony
• Partner with merchandising to ensure the line architecture supports the business needs of wholesale
• Spearhead and implement business processes and best practice to drive accountability and support long term growth objectives
• Drive all milestones pertaining to wholesale, including but not limited to, financial and product projections, co-op marketing recaps, seasonal and monthly recaps for major department stores, budget management and daily communication to sales teams
• Attend meetings & market appointments with department store management to best represent TRBJ business approach and direction.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Strong relationships across a wide range of domestic major and specialty clients
• 10+ years in Sr Strategic Wholesale Sales leadership role
• Experience managing large team of sales professionals local and remote
• Advanced analytical ability
• Strong management and team building skills
• Experienced leader with a solution-oriented approach
• Able to multi-task and work across various inter-company departments
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence in speaking in front of groups
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees and others with whom the company conducts business
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• BA/4-year College Degree
• Denim/sportswear background with men’s and women’s experience
• Advanced excel skills
