Marketing Manager, Rafaella
SUMMARY STATEMENT
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the implementation of the omnichannel marketing plan for the Rafaella brand, a brand targeting women offering apparel and other product categories with design and fit benefits that help women feel great about themselves. The goal of the Marketing Manager is to execute marketing initiatives that increase consumer awareness, generate demand, drive retail sales and make the brand stronger. This person interacts with internal colleagues across Sales, Design, Merchandising, Creative, Finance, as well as external partners including retailers, media partners, influencers, and press. The Marketing Manager for Rafaella reports directly to the CMO and works as a close partner to the Rafaella business unit leader and is a great opporutnity for an entrepreunerial, hands-on and out-of-the-box thinker.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide detailed direction on all marketing/messaging needs to guide development of seasonal campaigns, collateral, product marketing, content creation, advertising, and brand guidelines
• Build annual plans to manage marketing budgets and determine the appropriate allocation of funds to strengthen brand, drive awareness, and generate demand
• Manage seasonal master brand calendar that considers all key messages the brand and product will stand for, aligning across all communications and consumer touchpoints
• Prepare all briefing materials to guide Creative development for the brand and all communications
• Partner with Design, Merchandising, Sales, and Creative teams to develop product marketing collateral (trims, hang tags)
• Manage seasonal retailer assets including roll-out of printed signage for all shops
• Support Sales team efforts via showroom set up for seasonal markets and presentation materials
• Coordinate the creative development process and all projects that flow through the department
• Manage Marketing, PR and e-commerce product samples: work closely with sample coordinator to maintain status to ensure assets are being shot and images are provided to retailer accounts in a timely fashion
• Manage e-comm, campaign, and trim image retouching markup’s and traffic; collaborate with design to ensure fit is accurate
• Coordinate all production, planning and on-set direction of photo shoots in collaboration with creative team. This includes shot list, styling direction, prop securing, model selection, photo shoot calendar and product samples
• Work with social media team to develop calendar, copy and linking direction for on-going and seasonal content
• Work with creative freelancer to develop monthly stories for social media content; prepare and present a brief, key message and propping direction
• Manager influencer relationships including researching, contacting, shipping and content
• Serve as marketing department and retailer point-person for all digital requests including: transferring seasonal e-commerce product shots to retail partners and any asset requests
• Execute and ideate seasonal showroom presentation set up for market week, including partnering with merchandising, design and creative freelancer to develop marketing ideas, themes, etc. and initiating creative requests for signage and collateral

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 5 years of marketing, sales or business experience
