Month End Close 35%
• Prepare Finished Goods Excess and Full Package Liability entries by gathering, validating, compiling, and analyzing account information quarterly.
• Analyze Inventory Adjustments to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis by location, inclusive of gap analysis between Wholesale Operations and Retail Operations.
• Compile, validate, and prepare Corporate Inventory Summary and insure applicable support data is complete and accurate monthly.
• Prepare monthly General Ledger account analysis and reconciliations for assigned Inventory accounts by location, to include Finished Goods, In Transit, etc.
• Prepare explanations for significant variances to budget/forecast for specific lines of the P&L for monthly close.
• Ensure that closing calendar timelines are met for all tasks, effectively communicating any issues.
Quarter End Financial Close 35%
• Prepare Executive Summary Excess package and validate source data quarterly. Analyze results and document variances and process/control narratives.
• Review all Inventory Reserve accounts quarterly in compliance with Corporate Policy.
• Ensure that closing calendar timelines are met for all tasks, effectively communicating any issues.
SOX Controls 25%
• Participate in process reviews to insure Global Corporate Compliance with Accounting Policies.
• Address accounting questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and US GAAP.
• Assist internal and external audit teams during financial and SOX audits/reviews.
Manage special projects as assigned by the Director of Global Inventory Control to include but not limited to ad hoc queries and reports as required, inclusive of Inventory Turns and Forward Week reporting, etc. 5%

Experience and Skills
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and multi-task outside primary areas of responsibility.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to assist in the management of departmental projects and/or initiatives.
• Commitment to meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines regardless of the obstacles (overtime may be required).
• Highly motivated and dedicated to contributing to the growth and success of the company.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of accounting theory and practice with a focus on Inventory and cost structure.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand operational processes.
• Capable of operating independently with minimal direction from management to accomplish objectives; highly organized.
