This is a 3 to 4 month temporary freelance opportunity.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for the strategic execution and management of the multi-tender loyalty program, AEO Connected. Together with the Sr. Manager, Loyalty Marketing, this position will collaborate with internal partners and vendors to shape and execute the strategic vision of the loyalty program, to ultimately drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention (trips/spend).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute to the medium and long term strategy development process for the overall program; support Sr. Manager and Director as needed to establish core program goals, financial targets, technology enhancements, etc.
• Lead execution of all loyalty initiatives. Includes:
◦ Writing clear and compelling briefs to kickoff campaign work, and leading kickoff conversations
◦ Partnering with Marketing Ops and Product Managers to establish timelines and assign resources
◦ Supporting cross-functional partners as needed to attain cohesive program development (includes Product Management, Project Management, Brand, Creative, Email, Digital Marketing, UX/CX, CRM IT, Digital (Mobile and Site), Business Strategies, Finance, Customer Service, Store Operations and Legal)
◦ Measuring and reporting on program performance against pre-established KPIs
• Manage and maintain a comprehensive loyalty marketing calendar to encompass activity across channels
• Own inventory management and fulfillment of all loyalty program materials and collateral, and processing loyalty-related invoices
• Manage day-today relationship with loyalty strategy/technology partner, including leading and recapping weekly status meetings, maintaining relevant documentation/calendars, and addressing issues as they arise
• Lead monthly reporting processes, including
◦ Utilizing loyalty partner’s online tool for analysis of program KPIs, trends, and exception reports
◦ Providing monthly loyalty liability reporting to Accounting and Finance partners
◦ Preparing monthly/quarterly loyalty rewards slides for MPC
• Act as a loyalty subject matter expert, maintaining a catalog of industry programs/trends for benchmarking
• Manage SPC (Student Pricing Card) Canada relationship
◦ Participate in monthly calls
◦ Proof in-store signage and coordinate ordering/placement
◦ Maintain current in-store and online discount codes
◦ Partner with SPC contact for marketing opportunities in SPC-owned marketing materials
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3+ years related experience in marketing; CRM/loyalty marketing and retail experience a plus
• High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong prioritizing, analytical, presentation, project management & planning skills
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team; ability to work with and influence peers and senior management.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines; Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
