Typo started life back in 2009 with one store in Australia filled with unique, quirky and affordable stationery and gifts. We’ve grown to over 200 stores across 13 countries and we still love delivering everyday items with a twist through distinctive design, a little cheekiness and a lot of fun!

ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of our Brand Country Manager is to lead the vision for the Typo Brand across our USA operations - country driven and people first.
This role will directly oversee and drive;
• Retail Operations and in market Visual Communication for Typo
• Brand DNA & Consistent Customer Experience
• Merchandise & Stock/Inventory Management
• People Development and Succession Planning
• Profitability and Cost Control
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Demonstrated experience in a vertical retail, consumer goods or lifestyle product industries (hard goods experience a bonus!)
• Minimum of 8 years experience as a Senior Manager, specifically experience dealing with Executive level
• Proven track record of successful leadership of a retail brand
• Evidence of significant people management, people development and coaching and mentoring achievements
• Proven record of developing and delivering Brand integrity
• Demonstrated understanding of customer experience, and provision of such across multiple regions
OTHER SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, ATTRIBUTES AND PERSONAL QUALITIES
• Strong role model of Cotton On core values
• Ideally experience working for a local subsidiary of a multinational company and the issues this throws up.
• Ability to influence others over whom you have no authority, both locally and remotely
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
• A desire to continuously learn and develop as an individual and to participate in a learning culture wthin the team
