Organization Effectiveness & Performance (OE&P) Regional Talent Development Director (Americas L4): Become the Newest Member of the VF Family
Responsible for supporting the OE&P Global Region Lead to ensure business needs are met through regional application and execution of global Talent Development (TD) and Organization Effectiveness (OE) processes and initiatives. Collaborates and consults with HRBPs and business leaders providing TD & OE perspective and solutions. Collaborates with global OE&P to design and develop global TD & OE solutions that meet business needs. Americas: Oversees a team of Talent Managers to deliver TD & OE service offerings in their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
How You Will Make a Difference:
• Acts as primary OE&P contact for HRBPs in the region (or sub-region). Serves as member of HRBP region leadership team and is a thought partner and offers solutions across the spectrum of TD/OE (TD/OE generalist). Procures specialist TD/OE expertise from global OE&P CoE when needed
• Partner with global TD and OE leads in defining global solutions that also work for the region. Offers business perspective to the global OE&P CoE. May be aligned with a specialist area of OE&P (e.g. Learning & Development, OE, Succession) for guidance within the region and career development.
• Owns and drives the TD/OE execution agenda in the region; acts as a hands-on delivery resource within above mentioned specialist areas of OE&P
• Assures alignment of regional TD & OE requirements with global strategies. Offers global perspective to the business
• Collaborate with region HRBPs and global OE&P CoE in the design, development, delivery and ongoing management of talent interventions, processes and programs across their businesses. Talent solutions will be in the following area(s):

• Direct the work and manage Talent Specialists and allocate resources to specific talent development activities; ensure they have the programs, skills/knowledge, tools and guidance needed to deliver TD and OE services within their assigned business/sub-region
• Integrates I&D and EVP (employee experience) practices in all TD activities

◦ Regional Learning Needs Analysis
◦ Tweaking and delivery of learning initiatives across the region (70/20/10) based on regional/brand needs
◦ Local TD Contracts & PSL management (e.g. local training providers, coaches,…)
◦ Mega-Choice Capability initiative development and deployment based on regional needs
◦ Leaders teaching Leaders programs in region
• Succession Planning, Talent Pools & Mobility
◦ Builds and manages regional talent pools, with emphasis on strategic capabilities
◦ Works to develop brand & function talent in-region to meet and anticipate needs
◦ Partners with HRBPs & Regional Business Leaders on succession
◦ Works with global HiPo & Exec Talent Lead on specific roles/incumbents.

Skills for Success:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 15 years
Educational/ Position Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree is required. An MS/MBA in learning/education development, organization development, human resources, organizational behavior, applied behavioral science or a similar discipline is preferred.
• The successful candidate will possess 15 years of experience in learning and/or organization development in Fortune 300, publicly traded, global companies, ideally firms recognized for excellence in talent development
• Experience working as an HR Business Partner is preferred.
• 8+ years experience managing others.
• Experience working in a global business environment preferred.
Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
• Travel by air and overnight, as required 25% amount of time.
