SUMMARY
The Marketing Associate is responsible for the implementation of digital, online and social media presence for the Rafaella and Laundry brands. The incumbent will work with the brand marketing and creative teams to create, implement, monitor, and analyze social media and digital/interactive marketing campaigns. This position will be an integral part of the marketing team and will contribute and assist VP in the implementation of many marketing functions and initiatives, and will have a focus on driving the success of online campaigns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help coordinate the creative development process and all projects that flow through the department and assist with development of brand strategy and initiatives
• Marketing/PR sample coordination: Work closely with sample coordinator to maintain/manage and keep track of a complete marketing/PR sample line which also serves as the Ecomm sample line
• Help coordinate license partner requests and execute marketing materials for seasonal brand guidelines
• Help coordinate all production, planning and on-set follow through of photo shoots. In addition work with Marketing Manager to plan e-comm/digital marketing shoots in Miami studio, manage sample tracking/sku counts for e-comm, create shot-lists, model selection, photo shoot calendar. When needed, attend and manage e-comm product shoots in Miami
• Work collaboratively with cross functional departments
• Work with Marketing Manager to develop relationships, target and vet Editorial / Influencer relationships in effort to secure product placement partnerships and editorial coverage
• Serve brand marketing dept. as retail partner point-person for all digital requests/needs including: transferring seasonal e-commerce product shots to retail partners, fielding/implementing all seasonal (digital) asset requests
Digital Marketing Responsibilities
• Serve the Rafaella and Laundry brand group as the digital/interactive/social media point person
• Responsible for keeping the group informed and up-to-date with current events
• Play an active role in developing, planning and driving digital initiatives and programs while maintaining brand voice and ensuring clear and consistent brand messaging
• Implement the development and execution of digital, interactive and social media marketing campaigns
• Deploy digital campaign assets across all digital channels
• Use best practices for social media and digital marketing to assist with the expansion of the brands while increasing sales
• Monitor brand conversations online while collecting and analyzing data for ongoing campaigns
• Coordinate communication and approvals for all programs with social media team, brand marketing team, retailers and retailer digital/ecommerce teams and ensure proper copywriting/legal approvals
• Work closely with Marketing Manager to identify and develop blogger relationships & partnerships
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
• Strong communication, writing, and editing for PR skills (ability to show examples of copywriting, writing for social media posts, and/or marketing copy would be helpful.)
• Must have strong analytical, and research skills
• Experience in online marketing, branding, advertising and public relations helpful
• Ability to develop innovative creative work that’s in line with brand strategy
• Experience working on photography sets a plus
• Strong conceptual and problem solving skills
• An enthusiastic collaborator who is open to other people’s ideas
• Works on several projects at once, under tight deadlines
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail
• Possess a strong sense of urgency
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism
• Strong leadership qualities and effective team motivator
• Proficient in Creative Suite, Social Media Platforms and Google Apps
