Description
This Vice President, Global Demand & Supply Chain Planning will develop strategic plans to drive change improvement in under-performing segments of the company's inventory portfolio, lead the organization in successfully delivering product promotions and new product launches while optimizing inventory and customer service. Position works effectively across the organization, acting as the liaison between the supply chain organizations and the sourcing sites.
• Primary business-facing point of contact for the Arden and Fragrance global brand division
• Lead all activities for the company necessary to deliver targeted U.S. and global customer services levels by developing the strategy, setting direction and managing daily actions on all inventory-related activities
• Provide planning guidance for all changes in supply network design, e.g. sourcing changes, new supplier/new TPM capability assessments, new distribution
• US and Canada Demand Planning
• Global S&OP process for each Brand
• New Product Demand & Supply Planning (inclusive of selection of manufacturing locations)
• Supply & Demand Planning of the Distributed and Expanded business
• Supply Planning of all TPMs shipping into the main Roanoke Distribution Center
• Oversight (jointly with Oxford Planning) for Oxford Manufacturing Master Production Schedule
• Oversight (jointly with Assembly Operations) for Promotions Master Assembly Schedule
• Product supply management to affiliates excluding US
• Mastery of planning systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fact-based, accountability driven culture with a lean structure, demonstrated ability to succeed in and to drive a culture of performance
• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in operations and planning
• Significant exposure to TPM management, manufacturing, project management required
• Proven track record in driving successful inventory/working capital strategies, lead-time responsiveness and customer service levels.
• Deep knowledge of end-to-end supply chain
• Demonstrated Leadership skills: Ability to operate with confidence and conviction to effectively engage with, challenge, and work with senior leaders and work teams
• Able to work at both strategic and executional levels and to build organizational capability to sustain results through systems
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Able to influence strategically at all levels
• Excellent collaboration skills across functions and levels
