Overview
The Marketing Assistant – B2B Sales is responsible for managing the strategic customer interface with both key support groups within HBI. Responsible for assisting the B2B GM and Sr. Manager with developing and managing the sales process, with a primary focus on sales action plans to deliver sales growth, market share gains, and profitability. Position is also responsible for managing the acquisition of new B2B Pure Play accounts and optimizing the customer’s B2B experience to drive conversion and sales.
Responsibilities
• Develop and facilitate strategies for Sales, Profit, Space, Trade, and Assortment Management.
• Serve as Hanesbrands B2B contact for assigned Pure Play and 3rd Party Marketplace retail partners.
• Accountability for continuous and comprehensive sales action plans to achieve goals – display ability to execute short-term and long-term opportunities in managing results.
• Conduct business reviews with cross functional Hanesbrands teams, including but not limited to, marketing, forecasting, planning, customer service, and IT.
• Assist with managing trade and budget plans to effectively delivery growth and profit. Includes oversight of markdown, advertising, and marketing budgets specific to business category.
• Exhibit understanding of intimates, activewear, and basics apparel categories and leverage competitive advantages to develop strategies.
• Assist B2B GM and/or Sr. manager with quarterly product reviews, assortment plans and account sell in meetings.
• Work with Sr. Marketing Manager to analyze current sales by product/category and create B2B growth potential targets.
• Serve as liaison between B2B accounts and HBI operations to ensure efficient and accurate resolution of account issues.
• Develop marketing incentives and promotional plans to grow sales in existing B2B accounts.
• Works with B2B GM to identify opportunistic product offers for B2B accounts.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
• Bachelor’s degree required. Marketing or Business degree preferred.
• A minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience. Marketing or Sales with E-Commerce experience preferred.
• Keen attention to detail, superior interpersonal skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Computer skills, including an advanced proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to gain proficiency in new software packages. SAP experience preferred.
• Ability to travel ~4x per year.
