SET THE COURSE
The Associate Production Planner, under the direction of the Production Manager, is responsible for planning, issuing and tracking all Omni channel production orders and ensuring that finished product is delivered on-time and meets established quality standards. The Associate Production Planner will partner with cross functional teams to help develop long-term category planning strategies that align with overall production strategy. Performs cost analysis and pricing (both pre and final) of product category to ensure financial goals of the company are met.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
• Coordinate/organize retail, eCommerce and wholesale seasonal buys and places Purchase Orders.
• Assists in reporting sales versus purchases to leadership with a clear perspective of oversold or excessive inventory levels.
• Helps prepare reports on margin recaps in partnership with Sourcing team.
• Assists in the development of category specific calendars to meet production timing.
• Determine and inform sales, customer service, allocations, retail and ecommerce on styles that are sold up, oversold or dropped by delivery and season.
• Helps in the creation and assists in executing monthly booking process for long-term carryover styles.
• Assist with inventory allocations to adjust size scales in season to maximize sales and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Responsible for set up and maintenance of seasonal style master and cost sheets in Blue Cherry.
• Issue and maintain accurate record of all production purchase orders in Blue Cherry.
• Responsible for daily purchase order updates for style and color.
• Ensure timely set up, maintenance and freezing of costing sheets for all styles in Blue Cherry.
• Flexible to assist with other duties and projects as required to help support the overall business.
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or equivalent experience
• Generally 2+ years production planning and forecasting experience
• Experience in retail merchandising a plus
• Strong MS Excel skills.
• PLM system knowledge desirable.
• PDM experience desired.
