REPORTS TO: Sr. Director, aerie Global Store Operations
SUPERVISES: Lead, aerie Store Experience
Develop strategies to elevate the Customer Experience in all aerie SA, SBS and SIS locations. Work in partnership with key cross-functional partners in corporate and field to build product selling strategies and tools to expand the product knowledge and selling behaviors in store. The objective of this position is to elevate the customer experience and improve bra sales & conversion in Aerie.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Deliver training strategies and tools to improve selling behaviors and product knowledge
• Partner with aerie Merchandising/Design to understand Seasonal collection objectives and business priorities; create strategies to support the respective priorities
• Assist with the development of training materials by partnering with HR/L&D/Store Operations to provide input on defining instructional objectives and customizing training materials as needed to meet the needs of the business
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the Aerie bra business by attending critical product development meetings with Design/Merchandising/Production/Marketing
• Collaborate with business partners to ensure curriculum is current with the latest product innovations developments/launches/business objectives and incorporates industry best practices to drive consistent execution
• Ability to create strategic training plans and execute the tactics
• In partnership with the Aerie Leadership build a bra selling strategy/journey for the customer that can be scaled across the Aerie store fleet & multiple formats that drives sales
• Create and maintain all aerie brand on-boarding and new store training
• Create and maintain aerie training budget
• Create contests and incentives to drive aerie sales
QUALIFICATIONS:
• B. A. in Instructional Design, Journalism, Communications, Production, or Marketing
• 5+ years related experience in store operations, retail, or equivalent
• Video and print production experience a plus
• Experience with Instructional Design
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Previous project management experience (from conception to completion)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to lead strategic initiatives
• Ability to work with and influence senior management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
