Description
The Executive Director will be responsible for leading strategic transformation initiatives in the Global Marketing and Creative Transformation group at The Estee Lauder Companies. Time will be allocated 70-80% on Marketing topics and 20-30% on Creative transformation topics (e.g. step changing packaging design, elevating content for screens in stores, etc.). This person will be responsible to scope, lead, and partner with business leaders across brands, regions, and functional areas to drive new models and implementation of these models. Additionally, the ED will be responsible to coordinate with adjacent transformations to identify and solve for areas of intersection. One to two Director/Manager level resources will support.
Scope, plan, and manage strategic workstreams to support transformation of Marketing and Creative capabilities at ELC
Manage a team of 1-2 direct reports with responsibility to develop talent while driving high quality output and planning for the department’s future needs
Lead the content development for socialization including executive level communications
Understand insights and key drivers affecting prestige beauty industry and be familiar with key growth trends in populations/geographies that are driving the need for change
Map new ways of working—for all supporting operating model elements: structure, talent, process, etc.
Understand and communicate best practices/benchmarks in competitive or other industries as inspiration for transformation agenda
Collaborate with other transformation leaders to understand areas of intersection and support how these are addressed
Partner internally with Finance and Project Management leads in Global Marketing and Creative Transformation Group
Qualifications
MBA preferred or equivalent work experience
10 years of experience in strategy consulting with a passion for driving change
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Should have experience handling multiple stakeholders and functions across a large organization
Must have strong problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, executive communication, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and regional partners.
Strong presentation/PPT skills and impactful pages required
