The Creative Manager will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing and managing production of a range of digital assets for the US brand & digital marketing team. He/she will oversee the creation of digital assets—including photography and video—for Benefit’s social media accounts. Secondary duties will include oversight of asset production to support brand and digital campaigns; video production and project management; and creative support for our retail partners.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Brainstorm & produce social assets (photos, graphics) for Instagram, Facebook & Twitter as well as other new social platforms based on the U.S. content strategy.
• Drive the visual aesthetic of our Instagram account with photo/video direction and execution plan
• Analyze existing social design, photography & video assets and make recommendations on improvements.
• Oversee production of original digital assets for brand & digital team campaigns
• Support video production by providing motion graphic creative direction and overarching feedback
• Oversee production of social assets for retail partner use in accordance to their specific needs and brand awareness objectives
• Ensure graphic quality, consistency and adherence to brand identity in all visual assets produced
• Regularly review the social & digital work of our competitors & industry leaders to constantly stay at the forefront of creative trends.
• Identify & manage creative partners (freelancers, creative influencers) to produce assets for Benefit that fit brand aesthetic and drive trend-forward content
• Act as creative liaison with outside partners for photo shoots or large-scale content production
• Manage time effectively across multiple jobs adhering to production schedules in a fast- paced environment.

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years’ experience working in a digital creative department or web agency
• Strong understanding of the internet and a passionate user of digital technologies who is curious about the evolution of this space
• Knowledge of social media & digital creative best practices for highly visual social mediums
• Excellence in visual design, including typography & photography
• Strong awareness of photo/video shoot process as well as video production process
• Extremely proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite web design tools
• Demonstrated ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality
