Associate Trade Marketing Manager (RayBan)

GENERAL FUNCTION The Marketing Administrator helps execute the Trade Marketing strategy of the Brand to achieve defined business objectives. The Marketing Administrator ensures the proper execution and benchmarking of all programs designed to increase brand visibility.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures proper strategy is in place to meet both brand and customer expectations.
• Works in conjunction with team to develop and execute in-store events/programs designed to drive business by account, including sales contests, holiday promotions, seasonal events, etc.
• Ensures availability of appropriate trade materials, displays and other POP materials for the field sales team.
• Supports Marketing Manager in the development of various marketing materials for the field sales force (i.e. training manuals, sales brochures, etc.).
• Tracks competitive activity, category issues, retail environment and provides feedback to internal resources.
• Maintains alignment across the Sales and Marketing organizations to ensure Trade Marketing strategies and sales targets are met.
• Creates point of sales tools to increase brand presence, market share and identifies/develops necessary tools to improve customer satisfaction.
• Develops consumer promotions in collaboration with Brand Manager and Sales Manager and supports market executions.
• Serves as the point of contact between Brand Team and Channel of Trade teams and as the key reference partner for the Corporate Visual Merchandising team.
• Monitors and evaluates Trade Marketing programs and activities to measure effectiveness and recommends improvements, as needed.
• Reviews market research to identify existing and potential opportunities for growth and revenue generation.
• Analyzes brand sell through results by channel and makes recommendations to increase results.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• BA/BS in Marketing, Business or Sales
• 3+ years of marketing/merchandising experience with 1+ year(s) of trade/field marketing experience
• Understanding of field/trade marketing activities
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
• High level of computer literacy: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to prioritize and handle additional responsibilities as required and assigned
• Basic understanding of budgeting, cost estimating and fiscal management principles and procedures
• Ability to solve problems quickly, think creatively and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with a high attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding project schedules
• Ability to maintain a professional relationship and line of communication with all business contacts, sales force and customers
• Ability to travel domestically (minimum of one retail visit every quarter)
