Account Manager- Amazon & New Business Initiatives
FUNCTION
Ownership of the Amazon wholesale and marketplace partnership including but not limited to sales strategy development, catalog management, marketing, content development and placement. Management, tracking, and driving of revenue to improve and increase demand with the responsibility to deliver wholesale and retail sales goals. Manage Amazon domestic and international opportunities as long range strategies are developed. Responsible for digital pricing and product lifecycle management as well as management of relationship with key stakeholders and partners. The Account Manager will also be responsible for seeking new wholesale business initiatives in pure play eCommerce both domestic and international.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

• Develop and deliver strategies to drive sales to goal for Amazon 1P and 3P channels, along with identified new business initiatives.
• Responsible for product performance and success in domestic and international marketplaces.
• Responsible for relationship management of all aspects of the business with Amazon and other external partners.
• Lead frequent sales meetings to develop relationships with retailers (including New York market week meetings) to build mutually agreed upon sales targets.
• Collaborate and manage internal cross-functional processes and relationships needed to ensure success.
• Guide product catalog and changes based on analysis; sort, ranking, exposure, location, etc in conjunction with marketplace partners.
• Deliver strategies in coordination with Merchandise Planning & Allocations partners to forecast accurate needs and drive demand for 90% plus fulfillment rate goal achievement. Ensure projections/orders are completed on a timely basis to support revenue plan, as well as coordination of inventory availability and inventory movement between channels.
• Guide assortment decisions and selection of promotions.
• Execute price changes based on product lifecycle and/or promotions.
• Responsible for regular presentation of key analytical findings and recommendations to eCommerce and cross-functional teams regarding product performance.
• Responsible for reporting, analysis, and identifying opportunities while collaborating with outside vendors.
• Evaluate industry, consumer, category, and operational data to develop analytical insights and generate actionable business recommendations.
• Participate and manage the design, development, and implementation of reporting tools that inform the strategic management of product assortment, margin, life cycle and pricing of marketplaces
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience or high knowledge of Amazon 1P/3P platform and AMS
• 6+ years experience in buying and merchandise planning/forecasting, marketing placement – eCommerce.

• Merchandising and forecasting skills
• Excellent PC skills utilizing Microsoft Office software. Advanced Excel skills required; financial modeling experience a plus.

• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain good rapport with internal and external customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness
