Director, Global Education & Artistry Development, Bobbi Brown
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Provide key artistry and education direction and input for all brand initiatives with the ultimate goal of engaging the consumer and driving sales. Lead the development of programs to evolve the way in which Bobbi Brown educates and inspires both Makeup Artists and the consumer.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Consumer Experience
•Partner with cross-functional teams to provide global artistry and education voice to brand initiatives
•Ideate, develop and contribute to 360 activation plans to articulate brand and product storytelling, product innovation, artistry and client service
•Work cross functionally on “How To” programming to create interactive beauty experiences
•Test new and upcoming products (confirmed and unconfirmed) to be launched, giving feedback to product development and global marketing
•Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with global, regional and market Education and Marketing teams and other key business partners
Education Development
•Develop education programming, taking into account local market and channel specific needs; ensure programs and formats are consumer oriented, results-driven and support brand initiatives
•Develop education programs for varied methods of delivery including in-store trainings, facilitator-led classroom trainings, point-of-sale coaching and digital learning
•Work with team to update and refine Orientation programs, Basic Training School, Makeup Artist Workshops, and Certification
•Assist in developing and facilitating master classes for internal and external make-up artists globally.
Employee Development
•Help plan, attend, participate and help facilitate during TTT sessions, department meetings and conference calls
•Educate field educators and artists for area of responsibility
•Participate in orientation for field and international PRO Artistry team & brand executives
•Inspire and develop artists through program creation and execution
•Attend trainings in market to evaluate success of trainings and integrate feedback into future projects
QUALIFICATIONS
•8+ years relevant work experience
•Superior artistry skills
•Strong collaboration and relationship building skills
•Excellent communication, public speaking, selling, and teaching skills
•Proven ability to design, develop and create educational materials ensuring sales goals are met
•Experience developing artistry programs
•Articulate 360, Excel, PPT and Microsoft Office proficient
•Ability to travel 20% of time
