Foot Locker offers paid internships at our corporate locations in New York, NY, Camp Hill, PA, Bradenton, FL, Wausau, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, and Junction City, KS. As an Intern you will learn about the retail and eCommerce industry; participate in a collaborative business project, volunteer opportunities, and corporate training. As an intern in our Digital Workplace Engineering department, you will work on the Information Technology Digital (Modern) Workplace team to help enhance our global device support, drive technology initiatives, and research innovative technology solutions relevant to Foot Locker. Responsibilities
• Design Foot Locker’s mobile management process and policy. Look at end-to-end procurement, mobile OS compliance, hardware refresh, and other factors that impact the overall Mobile device experience. Pitch recommendations to senior leadership for appropriate buy-in.
• Assist with ‘phase 2’ of Office 365 implementation.
• Drive critical Digital Workplace pilots such as predictive PC analytics, modern device management, or Bring-Your-Own-PC/Mobile device.
• Assist with day-to-day operations and support of Foot Locker device technologies.
• Special projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To qualify for an internship with Foot Locker, individuals must:
• Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2019 graduate or a Master’s student
• Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary.
• Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week). Internships begin on June 3, 2019 and end August 16, 2019. Any exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Currently completing a degree in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science, and/or related field.
