We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced quality automation lead. As part of the QA leadership team, this role will guide a group of QA engineers who build automation and regression for our mobile and web sites.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Create a simple, robust, and automated testing process to support a continuous development/deployment environment
• Work closely with our web engineers to seamlessly integrate testing into the development and build processes
• Define code architecture decisions to support a high-performance and scalable product with a minimal footprint
• Taking the lead on projects in a team of Test & QA Automation Engineers
• Provide vision and technical leadership across the core engineering team
• Stay abreast of the latest technology trends, coding standards, libraries and frameworks to constantly challenge and redefine Mandiant’s technology stack
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in technology field
• 5+ years technology experience
• 4+ years of professional experience developing professional web software
• 2+ years of automated testing experience
• Exposure and understanding to modern web standards
• Strong professional experience with JavaScript and related libraries
• Understanding of modern web architecture using MVC approaches
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and best-practices
• Hands-on experience using testing frameworks such as QUnit, Jasmine, PhantomJS, Selenium, SinonJS, Mocha, etc.
• Working knowledge of RESTful web services
• Comfort working in an agile and test-driven environment
• Exposure to bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.
• Exposure to Github
• Comfort working with remote teams
