Foot Locker offers paid internships at our corporate locations in New York, NY, Camp Hill, PA, Bradenton, FL, Wausau, WI, Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, and Junction City, KS. As an Intern you will learn about the retail and eCommerce industry; participate in a collaborative business project, volunteer opportunities, and corporate training. As a Loyalty Program intern, you will:
• Gain insight into how loyalty programs influence and affect consumer behavior (purchase behavior, brand affinity, awareness, etc.) and their impact to the overall organization.
• Participate in tracking performance of loyalty program metrics for both Foot Locker’s own program as well as competitive programs in the athletic footwear and apparel space and non-competitive loyalty programs, producing insights for use in future loyalty initiatives, and partnering with internal and external teams on various projects.
• Influence Foot Locker Inc.’s insight into their performance of the loyalty program in the competitive landscape to drive future strategy and planning.
Responsibilities
• Leverage loyalty program data to identify business opportunities across Foot Locker, Inc. brands
• Track loyalty performance of key competitors in the athletic footwear and apparel industry as well as other industries
• Interpret results across various data sources and create a cohesive story
• Summarize results in verbal and written forms for use in strategy and planning
• Create recommendations based on findings to drive future business direction
• Partner with external vendor to explore key business questions and to spot industry trends
• Opportunity for exposure to other areas of marketing and research, including consumer research and data analytics
Qualifications
To qualify for an internship with Foot Locker, individuals must:
• Be a junior or senior in college, or a Spring 2019 graduate
• Arrange the internship with the educational institution on a for-credit basis, if necessary.
• Schedule according to the following business hours: Summer internship hours are Monday-Friday (40 hours/week).
Internships begin on
June 3, 2019 and end August 16, 2019. *Any exceptions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
