GENERAL FUNCTION
This role supports digital marketing initiatives, including execution, planning and documentation. The role is responsible for working cross-functionally within EyeMed and across Luxottica brands to support a leading digital member experience and drive overall value for the organization.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works alongside the digital marketing team to support and maintain the member portal, microsites and member digital tools.
• Works with IT to document and maintain requirement specifications (i.e. site mock-ups, content) for web and tool development and relevant enhancements to the member self-service platform.
• Ensures that all member digital assets are compliant with government requirements such WCAG 2.0 and cultural competency.
• Works directly with Account Managers, EyeMed IT and EyeMed Marketing to develop content for new or enhanced web sites or digital tools.
• Responsible for documenting all changes and exceptions for updates and enhancements to digital tools.
• Maintains content management system (CMS) and ensures that all content is up-to-date and accurate.
• Establishes relevant digital measurement, regularly updates dashboards, and provides analysis of results.
• Supports email marketing initiatives such as scheduling and sending emails, testing content, and pulling performance reports.
• Proactively recommends enhancements, upgrades and ways to streamline current processes.
• Maintains knowledge of new developments and trends in interactive marketing identifying opportunities that could be pursued based on business needs.
• Upholds brand standards and consistency across various member tools.
• Proactively identifies changes and issues, actively works to resolve, and communicates status to all impacted parties.
• Develops briefs, ensures internal alignment and monitors service providers to ensure deliverables meet branding standards, budget requirements and timing.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• 5+ years of experience in marketing & communications
• Strong multi-tasking skills
• Ability to collaborate
• Strategic mindset
• Excellent project management skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Digital marketing experience
• Understanding of optical retail industry
• Understanding of healthcare / vision care industry
• Demonstrated experience with Google Analytics, ExactTarget and WordPress.
• Knowledge of HTML
• Knowledge with content management systems, especially Cloud Cannon
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and other government regulations regarding digital platforms and websites
