Marketing Manager - Pearle Vision

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Marketing Manager works with the Director of Brand Marketing to develop national and local marketing objectives and strategies that align to both short-term and long-term brand objectives. Assists in coordinating efforts of agencies, the Integrated Marketing Team, the CRM team, franchisees, and other partners to implement marketing plans and measure their impacts on business KPIs. Key responsibilities include align objectives to media opportunities, support the corporate fleet of stores, understands the customer journey, core segmentations and customer behaviors, overseeing execution of evergreen marketing programs/partnerships, partnering on corporate marketing CRM communications, and maintaining and publishing the marketing calendar.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develops, in partnership with the Director of Brand Marketing, marketing plans focused on driving key brand KPIs.
• Works closely with media agencies to implement marketing plans across non-digital media channels.
• Works closely with the internal shared services and CRM team to plan, execute, and measure performance of corporate CRM campaigns.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage marketing projects, partnerships, and programs such as the community outreach program (C.O.R.N.E.A.).
• Assists with planning and measurement of promotional offers.
• Analyze current marketing results and provide insights on business performance
• Leads efforts to understand market dynamics and consumer behaviors and measure the impact of marketing initiatives on specific KPIs.
• Prepares and delivers briefs to support brand initiatives.
• Maintains the marketing planning calendar and other key planning documents and publishes out to partners.
• Contribute to incremental business opportunities by evaluating competitive activities and key partnerships and crafting plans against these opportunities.
• Applies learnings to evolve customer communications to improve performance.
• Contributes to decision making with recommendations based on solid understanding of marketing and business principles.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Marketing-related field required
• 5+ years marketing in a retail and / or franchise organization
• Experience working with internal and external partners across multiple disciplines
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and understanding of analysis methods
• Ability to think strategically and creatively
• Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to influence others and provide guidance to team members
• Proven project management and multi-tasking skills
• Understanding of media planning principles and core marketing concepts
