Job Summary:
This position is responsible for planning production for multiple facilities, utilizing inventory, and maintaining acceptable WIP levels with an understanding of the open order file to meet demand as required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plans all types of production (Screen Print, Embroidery, Heat Seal) for multiple facilities.
• Makes informed decisions regarding inventory control, working closely with planning department on constrains regarding blank needs/usage.
• Monitors and understands sales demand to determine level of production necessary to meet requirements.
• Provides support for 3 PL printing including blank management and capacity levels.
• Works with Customer Service on customer and/or production issues and requirements.
• Maintains order file integrity (cancellations, order extensions, item maintenance).
Experience/Qualifications:
• Years of Related Professional Experience: 3- 5
• Bachelor Degree in related field of study
• Experience in production planning
• Strong knowledge of production process and standards
• Understating of processes relating to end result
• Strong communication skills (written, oral)
• Ability to adapt to change in work flow/priorities
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills (spreadsheet, BRIO, etc.)
