MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Trade Marketing is a Commercial Department, embedded in the brands, whose top line mission is to:
• Build and implement Go to Market strategies across the professional hair category.
• Steer and monitor market performance through reporting tools
• Support sales teams in executing plans
RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Track business results and provide action plan to steer or accelerate results.
• Track performance of initiatives against KPI’s or comparable benchmarks. Consolidate performance and report to key stakeholders.
• Manage Professional distribution database, distribution drives and new distribution opportunities.
• Create and maintain tracking reports and databases of Pricing. Promotions and Base Business activities
• Maintain a library of marketing documentation, content and a Compliance log
• Plan and drive small to mid-sized projects from kick-off through to completion
• Coordinate with the Marketing Managers to create, manage, and actively produce/update product information
• Anticipate, oversee and troubleshoot any barriers; manage implications in terms of priorities, tasks, resources and/or requirements
• Secondary point of contact for internal customers initiating work within the marketing department or checking the status of jobs already in progress
• Research information requests from the Marketing Manager
• Partner with the Digital Team to create and produce the data is needed across the channels.
• Partner with the Marketing Project Manager to provide deliverables for Conferences and Tradeshows
• Work with the multifunctional team (demand planning, marketing, finance, sales teams) to execute the day to day business with excellence on forecasting, initiative and promotional planning, sales deployments, pricing, shipment planning, ..
THE COTY IDEAL FIT
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
• Minimum 3+ years professional experience within marketing/project management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must have the ability to collaborate and communicate across all functions and levels of the organization and, above all, a strong work ethic and positive attitude
SPECIALIZED SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Exemplify clear and professional communication, emphasizing transparency, collaboration, and shared goals with internal project teams
• Strong in planning, facilitation, problem analysis, and solution oriented.
• Have solid performance in work-flow structuring, monitoring, multi-tasking, analytical, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to quickly develop category and product expertise.
