Overview

GIII Apparel Group is currently seeking a Merchandise Manager to join it's Calvin Klein Handbagsteam based in New York City!
Responsibilities
Collection Brief
• In conjunction with VP of Merchandising, build and execute the seasonal Collection Briefs; providing previous seasonal product performance & analytics, gathering marketplace requests, and researching the competitive landscape, including in-market travel.
• Assist in building pricing strategy by category to meet seasonal objectives and drive IMU.
• Support in solidifying and communicating seasonal KPIs in order to drive market share, revenue and profitability while creating strong checks & balances in the process to evolve strategy & assortments.
Proto Phase/Sample Phase
• Liaise with Design and Product Development to facilitate proto/sample phase; creating internal schedules, communicating on proto/sample status, supervising RLM system management and style number assignment.
• Participate and track product details in Proto Review/Edits; preparing product documentation to support including details, costing, LY reference materials, style/sku targets.
Market
• Responsible for Final Line List timeliness and accuracy.
• Partner with VP of Merchandising and PD to price collection in conjunction with pricing strategy and to deliver IMU target.
• Support VP of Merchandising in partnering with Brand Image team to ensure all market tools are scheduled, created in alignment with merchandising strategies, and meet market deadlines.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Merchandising
• 5 years of retail industry experience
