The Assistant Manager, US Marketing is responsible for both assisting in the development and growth of IT Cosmetics in Sephora as well as aiding the greater US Marketing team with day to day business needs. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Provide support in the development and maintenance of national US Marketing plans.
Assist US Marketing team in developing and maintaining national calendars, assortments and various marketing communications and reference documents
Contribute to the development and implementation of Sephora sampling initiatives, promotions and events
Issue creative requests and support follow up for projects at hand to ensure a timely and accurate delivery
• Meeting preparations - gather all needed products & material (trays, hygiene etc.) for meetings
• Assist in event preparations – preparation/set up and tear down
Assist in building competitive analyses and weekly reporting
Manage maintenance of in-office displays and product drops
Maintenance of product closet; regular audit of product, placing orders for missing items
Participate in store tours to keep abreast of in-store initiatives
Responsible for package shipping and product invoice creation for the department
• Lend a sense of availability and accessibility to internal teams/departments at all times
Overtime may be required
Promote the company in a positive light and bring the spirit of partnership to all interactions.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
Strong organizational skills
Previous work with Sephora and/or ULTA
Proven ability to multi-task, manage complexity & prioritize
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and against tight deadlines
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Knowledgeable of retail trends & new industry product launches
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with cross-functional departments
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
