Responsibilities
Primary Purpose: To drive regular priced sales & profitability while maintaining brand merchandising standards within the wholesale environment with a focus in the New York City territory.

• Partner with department store management and sales teams to drive sales goals
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and ownership of the business by utilizing reports in excel and tracking daily, weekly, and monthly sales to achieve sales plans
• Focus on maximizing full price sales with customers by partnering with the store sales team as well as internal wholesale partners
• Partner with internal wholesale partners to manage inventory flow from sales reporting within the store
• Identify product & inventory opportunities within the assortments and business communicating on a weekly basis with department store management teams and NYC sales team
• Identify and communicate product and inventory needs to internal wholesale partners in a timely manner
• Conduct weekly/monthly/seasonal trainings with sales manager, selling specialist, and associates
• Work collaboratively with internal visual & store teams to maintain merchandising standards
• Partner with store management to ensure floors are staffed at peak traffic periods
• Partner closely with sales specialists to drive sales and with stock specialists to ensure stock is presented appropriately within both categories
• Develop Kate Spade New York brand image and selling tools with sales associates
• Build creative solutions to drive sales through associate training and events
Qualifications
The accomplished individual will possess...
• 1-3 years of experience in retail, field sales, or wholesale environment
• Previous experience with merchandising and or visual merchandising
• An analytical skill set
• Ability to be an organized self-starter
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule and weekends as needed
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
