Overview
Foot Locker, Inc., the world's leading retailer of athletically inspired shoes and apparel, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Executive team for Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support in a team environment to the Executive Buying and Marketing team across the Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Lady Foot Locker divisions. The Administrative Assistant must be extremely organized and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting multiple executives. The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, proactive attitude, and attention to detail are equally important.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for calendar management, requiring interaction with both internal and external executives, assistants and vendors to coordinate a variety of meetings
• Arrange travel schedule and reservations for General Managers, VP General Merchandise Managers, VP Divisional Merchandise Managers, and buying team across the Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, and Kids Foot Locker divisions and manage travel budget for the department
• Maintain records, both electronic and paper filing systems
• Coordinate and organize various company events as needed and department functions including, Meetings, Conference Calls etc.
• Manage communications - which includes answering phone calls, managing mail, taking messages or fielding/answering routine and non-routine questions
• Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Maintain expense reports in Concur for the General Managers, VP General Merchandise Managers, VP Divisional Merchandise Managers, and buying team across the Foot Locker, Lady Foot Locker, and Kids Foot Locker division
• Manage departmental office supplies for the buying team
Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience
• A comprehensive knowledge of computers and experience in Windows, including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
• Ability to work with both vendors and co-workers in a professional, respectful, cooperative and courteous manner
• Demonstrate positive, customer service and team-oriented demeanor
• Ability to communicate at a high level with all levels of management
• Must be flexible and able to adapt quickly to changes while maintaining high organizational skills
