Overview
Tiffany & Co.’s global digital creative team is seeking a stellar junior to mid level designer to join our New York team. The designer plays a key role in supporting the digital art directors on all key marketing initiatives with a focus on social media content creation, digital campaign activation as well as other miscellaneous design support to support the digital marketing effort. The designer must have a good understanding of luxury, jewelry, and retail businesses, posses a passion for fashion trends, and editorial & advertising design and photography trends.
Responsibilities
Support the digital creative team, creating compelling, timely digital and social experiences that address Tiffany & Co.'s. strategic needs. Collaborate and brainstorm with copywriter, Art Directors, and Creative Directors.
• Partner with creative team to conceptualize and design content series deployed across all global social/digital channels
• Be part of the team to brainstorm content strategy and plan editorial calendar for social media
• Provide design support for regional social media needs
• Support larger digital team on general design needs where suitable as determined by team lead (projects may include Tiffany.com update, email, banners, app)
• Prepare and manage retouching and other production needs on own projects
• Participate in internal meetings as well as interact with external vendors where needed
Foster idea-sharing and cross-communications with art directors across the marketing department. Communicate with all teams and project managers during various stages of project development. Work within schedules and budgets while able to manage own workflow from concept to execution.
Proactive participation in assisting project managers to meet deliverable deadlines. Proactively communicate with all teams and Project Manager during various stages of design. Highly disciplined quality assurance before hand-offs of all projects
Keep abreast of latest interactive technology and developments/trends in the digital and social landscape, and evaluate suitability for Tiffany.com.
Qualifications
-College degree in Graphic Design or related field
-At least 2-4+ years professional experience
-Highest taste level, standards and keen attention to detail
-Related experience in luxury, fashion, retail brands
-Strong communication skills, organization skills
-Self motivated, strong work ethic
-Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to manage large work flow within time constraints
-Computer skills (proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite)
-Photo art direction/styling, animation, coding experience a plus
