MISSION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Specific Job Responsibilities/Accountability:
• Lead the Philosophy Bath & Body and Holiday categories
• Manage day-to-day communication/development with all cross functional teams including R&D, NPD, Creative, Merchandising, Finance, Legal and Production to ensure timetable/milestone adherence. Includes leading some product brief meetings to kick-off program development, tracking key milestones in weekly cross-functional meetings, submitting and updating necessary briefs and cost feasibilities, requesting and tracking codes and forecasts, and reviewing product artwork mechanicals.
• Write meaningful concepts for new Bath & Body and Holiday programs that are in line with philosophy brand DNA
• Create fragrance briefs and brief all houses, track all fragrance submissions, evaluate in timely manner
• Own the fragrance house feedback for all programs- digest feedback from global team, SVP, and inhouse fragrance evaluation and give cohesive meaningful direction back to the houses
• Work closely with the R&D team to develop new fragrance ancillaries, new formulas, new fragrance EDTs for Bath & Body and Holiday- manage submissions and give timely, precise feedback
• Create and deliver all creative briefs for new products, packaging, campaign
• Lead the Holiday program: set configurations, retail exclusives, new format and scent development
• Act as Global liaison with Affiliates on program updates, changes, requests. Includes creating offering books for new product launches, collecting forecasts, and liaising on local market campaign assets and needs
• Stay abreast of global competitive activity and trends, conduct competitive analysis, assess new competitive product launches, and create presentation materials as needed
• Analyze competitive data (NPD Rankings, product mix, retail pricing, top selling promotions) to utilize as tool in seasonal planning and as needed
• Support Director in creation of all internal presentations (i.e. Global Marketing Meeting, Strategic Plan, Budget Reviews, etc.)
• Present key initiatives to local marketing teams
• Participate in leading new projects for the team as needed to address issues/new business opportunities (COG savings, global pricing, sales opportunities)
• Lead all agendas for internal status meetings with local marketing teams and R&D and provide recaps after meetings
• Identify market needs, new-to-market fragrance product concepts and marketing re-support programs using consumer insights, market trends, and internal portfolio assessment in order to further the brand’s growth objectives and fragrance category strategy
• Master the competitive market and become the in-house fragrance market expert for the team.

Skills and experience:
• 5 years relevant experience preferably in consumer goods/ beauty industry
• Passion for beauty and fragrance
• Team player and excellent project management skills together with the ability to work across functional areas (R&D, Creative, Local Marketing, etc.)
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, highly organized and detail oriented
• Flexibility and adaptability to change and ability to keep projects on track
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to perform business analyses
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Bachelor’s Degree
