Who you will be working with:
The position reports to the Sr. Manager, UX Operations, and will work closely with the UX Design Manager for review of approved creative direction. This is a management position and will lead the digital design team. The Production Design Manager is located in Sunderland, Vermont. Oh, and you can bring your dog to work with you too. Things you will be working on:
• Leading the team of Designers to create weekly content for selling needs and store refresh for Orvis.com and the email channel
• Partnering with design team to ensure content is in line with approved seasonal designs and styles
• Ensure agility within the UX Operations group for key process flows and new technology
• Supervise and develop team’s competencies by coaching and training team members

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the company in a positive and productive manner to create great partnerships

• Demonstrated ability to manage direction from several areas: creative leadership, merchandising, inventory, and marketing
Qualifications we are looking for:
• Demonstrated leadership and talent development skills
• Expert level of understanding of design process for all eCommerce channels
• Expert knowledge of industry standard design tools (i.e. Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding of the color correction/retouching process, photography process, and image usage rights process
• B.A./B.S. preferred
