We have an exciting opportunity available within on wholesale department based out of New York City. This role provides overall support in functional areas within the department and will have the opportunity to work with women’s clients.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with showroom setup for market selling, including sample preparation, booking appointments, line sheet development, swatch book organization and maintenance, and other related duties.
• Manage two women’s wholesale accounts, up to and including conducting buy in showroom, order processing and follow up.
• Liaise with Logistics team on shipping status of all wholesale accounts (all categories)
• Liaise with all wholesales clients on a day to day basis and process all related paperwork for stock replenishment orders, return authorizations, and product information requests.
• Manage sample trafficking for the Wholesale Sales Team utilizing Prima
• Accompany the selling team when visiting department stores product knowledge clinics when needed.
Essential Experience and Skills Required:
• 1-2 years’ previous wholesale and showroom experience in luxury retail (women’s wear preferred)
• Working knowledge of sample trafficking systems and reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Able to travel and accommodate occasional weekend work and long hours
