SET THE COURSE
Assists in the execution of embroidery product by 3rd parties. Assists in digitization development, and embroidery stitch out/screen print approvals, logo library file maintenance on our server, and color coordinating all logos for embroidery. Assist in ensuring projects are managed through all phases of development and production. Demonstrates outstanding customer service and communication and is responsible to manage workflow in supervisor’s absence.
BE THE ISLAND GUIDE
• Under the direction of the Supervisor, prioritize workload to meet customer ship dates.
• Support all aspects of logo development including set-up, development, and approvals with Digitizing partner, library revisions, and stitch out approvals, editing picking, packing, quality control upon return of units and shipping of embroidered orders.
• Edit software logo files on Tommy Bahama server and maintain detailed customer files and approval processes on all new/existing logo development and stitch outs.
• Execute embroidery color-up processes and direction. Match color of the logo with the color of the garment and ensure they meet customer specifications.
• Maintain Embroidery/Production recap.
• Assist with Photo Image Management for Marketing and DTG.
• Fill sample requests and provide approvals.
• Work with Supervisor in developing policies and procedures related to logo and embroidery processes and support company goals of increasing revenue in Corporate Sales division.
• Run daily reports and distribute to Supervisor and off-site embroidery partner.
• Process changes in Blue Cherry operating system related to embroidery and the embroidery operating system.
• Set priorities for embroidery partner.
• Provide support to the VAS department to ensure licensed logo requirements, quality standards, and timelines are being met. Requires daily hand on floor support.
• Oversee end result of all picking, packing, quality control upon return of units and shipping for embroidered orders. Includes creating and labeling all outbound products.
• Daily communication with key contacts.
• Print MSRP and polybag stickers as needed.
• Provide basic backup functions to the supervisor in the supervisor’s absence.
• Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities are subject to change in order to keep up with the new or expanding business models
ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Generally, 3+ years of apparel industry customer service experience working with embroidery requirements and color coordination
• Strong working knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheet applications
• Knowledge of Wilcom and Dataframe
• Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook. Needs to be able put together spreadsheets and have good math skills.
• Customer service experience and attitude
• Knowledge of thread coding/numbering/Pantone Matching System
